Syrian Observatory: Turkish border guards killed  young man from Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has reported that a citizen from Idlib province in northwestern Syria was shot dead by Turkish border guards as he tried to cross into Turkey.

The Observatory pointed out that the dead man is a young man from the town of Kafr Owaid in Jabal al-Zawiya in Idlib countryside, noting that he was killed by Turkish gendarmes guarding the border while he was trying to cross into the country from the province's countryside.

The observatory said its data indicated that the number of Syrian civilians killed by Turkish gendarmes since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis had risen to 437, including 77 children under 18 and 42 women.
