Tent in Dêrik, a fund-raising campaign in al-Hasakah to help victims of Rojilat floods

Under the slogan "Together to support our people in Rojilat Kurdistan" and in order to help as many citizens as possible affected by floods in Rojilat Kurdistan (eastern Kurdistan, northwestern Iran), the Kurdish Red Crescent erected a fundraising tent in the city of Dêrik and issued another statement in the city of al-Hasakah to announce the launch of a fundraising campaign for the same purpose.

Under the slogan "Together to support our people in the Rojhilat Kurdistan." The Kurdish Red Crescent in al-Hasakah, in coordination with the provincial council, issued a joint statement announcing the start of a fundraising campaign for those affected by heavy rains and floods in the east "Rojhilat" of Kurdistan."

The campaign was launched today and will continue until the 25th of April, Joanna Ali administrator of the Kurdish Red Crescent read the statement:

"As a result of the torrential rain and recent floods in eastern Kurdistan, many villages and homes were destroyed, and some citizens lost their lives afterwards, forcing people to evacuate their homes and remained homeless.

Under the slogan "Together to support our people in Rojilat Kurdistan," the Kurdish Red Crescent from today, 18 April to 25th launched a campaign for all donations in the area of ​​al-Hasakah in coordination with all councils, Kongra Star, the Democratic Society Movement, municipalities and Democratic Union Party in the region.

In the same context, in order to support and back the people of Rojilat Kurdistan, who were affected by the floods that swept through their areas, the Kurdish Red Crescent in Dêrik area launched a fundraising campaign today under the slogan "Together to help our people in Rojilat Kurdistan."

The donation tent was set up in the center of Dêrik, where the campaign is scheduled to last a week.

The campaign was launched today by reading the statement issued by the Kurdish Red Crescent in this regard by the co-chair of the Kurdish Red Crescent in the eastern region, Dr. Ahmed Sheikhmos:

"As a result of the heavy rain and recent floods in the Rojilat Kurdistan, many villages and homes were destroyed and some citizens lost their lives after that, forcing the people to vacate the houses and are now homeless and lack the priorities of living."

"In order to help as many citizens as possible, we at the Kurdish Red Crescent call on all citizens, institutions, associations, humanitarian and relief organizations and municipalities to support their siblings in Rojilat Kurdistan and let us hand in hand to help them."

The residents of Dêrik are flowing to the tent to donate to the people of Rojhilat Kurdistan.
