Thousands of people from Kobani canton took to streets in a mass demonstration to condemn the practices committed by the Turkish state against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and they demanded to disclose the fate of the leader after the fire that broke out in Imrali.

Information reported that a fire broke out this morning in a forest on the island of Imrali in the Sea of ​​Marmara, where the leader Abdullah Ocalan is being held.

Thousands in Kobani canton have flocked to the Free Woman Square, denouncing the practices of the Turkish state against Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali Prison, calling on the Turkish state to disclose his fate after the fire that broke out close to the prison.

Bozan Khalil, co-chair of the Interior Ministry in the Euphrates region, delivered a speech in which he said: "What happened in my command was intended by the Turkish state, and this operation aims to hit the democratic nation’s project in northern and eastern Syria by targeting the leader, "he also called for the human rights organizations and the international community to work to uncover the status of the leader, stressing:" We will not calm down until after the knowledge and status of the leader is revealed. "

Leader Ocalan’s lawyers in Turkey also asked to visit the public prosecutor, so that they can meet the leader and reveal his health, but the Turkish state did not respond to their demands, as the last meeting between the leader and his lawyer was since 7 August 2019.

The demonstrators chanted slogans calling for the freedom of the leader and lifting isolation from him.
