The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that intense and violent rocket shelling was carried out by Turkish forces and their mercenaries on the positions of the regime forces in the town of Neirab in Idlib countryside.
The shelling coincides with the gatherings of Turkish and mercenary forces on the outskirts of Qaminas and Sarmin, amid anticipation to start a new ground operation on Neirab, after it had launched a similar operation a few days ago that led to temporary control of the town, which was quickly restored by the regime forces.
On the other hand, the regime's warplanes bombed areas in the vicinity of the Qaminas region, Tal Mzibin, and the vicinity of the city of Jericho, while the Russian planes renewed their bombing of Shahrnaz and Hoora at, Jabal Shahshabo.
These developments come after the failure of the Russian-Turkish talks for the third time on Idlib.
The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has again threatened the regime forces, while the Kremlin responded to it, saying that the attack on the regime is a bad scenario.
