Turkey occupied many Syrian areas by backing its mercenary groups, while all efforts of resolving the Syrian crisis have gone unheeded.
It upholds its presence in Idlib countryside, Hama and Aleppo in the guise of the so-called "observation posts", in order to keep control over international roads in the region.
Turkey follow policy in Libya, in an attempt to thwart all international efforts aimed at de-escalating and finding a Libyan political solution by supporting the Government of National Accord to complete its plan in dominating the oil fields.
In the same direction, Turkey has also thwarted two international attempts to cease fire in Karabakh, as it keeps sending Syrian mercenaries and drones in addition to signing a direct military intervention, with the aim of reaching the southern Caucasus, where the underground wealth is.
Turkey is increasingly threatening to launch attacks and occupy new Syrian areas, while its mercenary groups commit heinous violations against people in the occupied areas in a clear attempt to apply the demographic change.
In the latest report of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, (SOHR) which was published on Wednesday, the 21st of this month, which addressed the situation in the city of Serêkaniyê, it said: “A great dissatisfaction due to the repeated raids on the houses in the area, without regard to the sanctity of homes, in addition to confiscating phones.
"The members of the pro-Turkish factions are smuggling people to Turkey, taking advantage of their power. These factions also detain Syrians and non-Syrian women for ransom in exchange for their release." It added.
The Turkification is still underway through Syrian mercenaries amid reports about appointing Turkish governors in these areas, and imposing the Turkish currency was a major blow to the Syrian identity.
Regarding this, the Secretary-General of the Syrian Change and Ennahda Party, Mustafa Qalaji, said: "Turkey is still following the same mentality of the colonial state, trying to foil all political solutions in the region."
He continued, "We have noticed this since February 2020 Putin-Erdogan meeting which resulted in agreeing on opening the Aleppo-Latakia road (M4), but Turkey pushed mercenaries to protest the Russian-Turkish joint patrols on the aforementioned road."
"If Turkey accepts the solution, its role is over."
On objectives of Turkey's moves, he said: "If Turkey accepts the political solution, it mean its role in the region is over. Therefore, it seeks to leave the occupied area through its linked mercenaries, the approval of its allies in Astana and under the auspices of the United States of America."
"Russia and Turkey ... a play of disagreement for sharing the region's riches"
Qalaji affirmed that the demographic change by Turkey on the ground, as it brought in mercenaries from Ghouta, Homs and some areas of Idlib under different addresses, the most important of which are de-escalation agreements, and transferred to Afrin and the surrounding towns. Most importantly, it is taking over people properties and handing them over to its affiliated mercenaries.
He concluded his speech by saying: “When the role of some armed factions in the region ended, and to complete the play of difference between the Russians and the Turks, mercenaries were brought in for the benefit of the two teams, mercenaries with the Turks and others with the Russians, and the region’s resources were shared and their areas of influence exploited in it.”
