Turkish warship bombing west of Tripoli

The Libyan army spokesman, Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, said that a Turkish warship bombed Al-Ajailat area, west of the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

"In a drastic development of the military operations taking place in the west of the country, a Turkish warship fired missiles from the open sea into Al-Ajailat area without causing any losses," Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari said in a message.

Al-Mismari stressed that the Turkish naval forces’ intervention is ongoing, as Turkish ships are accompanied by cargo ships carrying Syrian weapons, military equipment, terrorists and mercenaries to Libyan territory.
