Turkoman fighter: Turkey's practices in occupied territories is copy of ISIS practices

A Turkoman fighter in the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces renewed the fighters ’resolve to confront Turkish attacks in the region, and he said he was proud of being involved in resisting the Turkish occupation.

Since October 9, 2019, the Turkish attacks on the north and east of Syria have not subsided, as Ain Issa district is subjected to daily attacks by the occupation army and mercenary groups.

The fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with its various components, stand in the way of Turkish plans to expand its occupation of northern and eastern Syria after it occupied Serekaniye and Girê Spi/ Tel Abyad.

The Turkoman fighter Akef Raqqa said that the reason for joining the SDF "is the injustice and brutal practices practiced by ISIS mercenaries supported by the Turkish occupation state, and the killing and abuse of his family on their hands."

Akef pointed out that the Turkish practices in the occupied territories are a copy of the practices of ISIS mercenaries.

Akef, from the Hammam Al-Turkman town of the occupied Girê Spi/ Tel Abyad district, his father was killed in front of him because of his opposition to ISIS mercenaries.

In this context, Akef said, "My father said to the mercenaries (we have God holding us accountable, and not you to hold people accountable), so they shot him –with their hatred- in front of the townspeople."

The Turkoman fighter added, "I fight alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces to liberate the land and people from the tyranny of the Turkish occupation state that supported ISIS."
