Yazidi House handed over 27 people to Shengal Council

The Yazidi House in al-Jazeera Region handed over 27 of the Yazidi people who were liberated by SDF to Shengal Council.

The Yazidi house in al-Jazeera region handed over 14 women and 13 children freed by SDF from Daesh in the village of al-Bagouz.

During the ceremony, several speeches were delivered by the leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces Public Relations Office, Shiyar Hasaka, the co-chair of the Hasaka Canton Council Abdul Ghani Osei, the administrative director of the Yazidi House in al-Jazeera region, Elias Sidou, and the Yazidi women's Movement Ahlam Hajji.

The commander of  the General Relations Office of SDF Shiyar Hasakah said," during our operations in Deir ez-Zor countryside we have liberated hundreds of women, children who were kidnapped and we have handed over them to the Yazidi House."

The administrator in Yazidi Women Movement said that they had received 129 abducted women who had been freed from mercenary recently during the campaign of al-Jazeera Tempest. "We, in turn, will hand them over to their relatives in Shengal," she said.

"We have not been able to hand them over to their families officially, so they stayed for about a month at the Yazidi home in al-Jazeera Region, including wounded and sick people who were being treated," she said.

After the speeches, the freed would be handed over to the Shengal Council.

They are scheduled to enter Shengal district in the next few hours.
