Yazidi House member: Turkish aggression is violation of Iraq sovereignty, it must put end to it

A member of the Yazidi House in north and east Syria explained that the Turkish aggression is a violation of Iraqi sovereignty, and it must put an end to Turkey. He said: “Everyone knows that the guide of ISIS mercenaries is Erdogan. The mentality and practices of the Turkish aggression are the same manner of ISIS mercenaries.”

The Turkish occupation army continues targeting many areas of the Iraqi territories, violating the international treaties and the Iraqi sovereignty, and in particular targeting the Kurdish Yazidi people of  Shengal, who were subjected to a massacre by ISIS mercenaries. This time, it targeted the commander of Shengal Protection Units.

In this context, Hawar news agency (ANHA) met with the member of the Yazidi House in north and east Syria Mohammed  Resho who said at the outset of his speech: “Turkey’s aggression on the Iraqi lands is not new. The Turkish state is a special foe to the Kurdish people. It targeted the Yazidi villages in Afrin and Serêkaniyê, and displaced the residents of these areas. Its aggression is repeated against Shengal now.”

Resho pointed out that the Turkish occupation, after the defeat of ISIS at the hands of the People Protection Units (YPG), is trying to revenge for it, so it targets Shengal every now and then.

Resho added, “The people of Shengal have established forces from the people of the region to defend Shengal and its lands. We highly criticize the Iraqi government, and we ask them not to accept this repeated aggression because it transcended the sovereignty of the Iraqi central state.”

At the end of his speech, the member of the Yazidi House in north and east Syria Mohammed Resho made clear that their demand from the international countries is to stop Turkey's aggression against those regions, and he continued saying: “Everyone knows that the guide of ISIS terrorist mercenaries is Erdogan. The mentality and actions of the Turkish aggression are the same style as ISIS mercenaries’.”
