Younes: Tehran and Sochi meetings came out with agreements to deepen the Syrian crisis

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Jazira region confirmed that the Tehran and Sochi meetings turned into 2 meetings to deepen the Syrian crisis and came out with agreements to divide Syria.

After the tripartite summit that brought together the presidents of (Turkey, Russia, and Iran) on July 19 in the capital, Tehran. The Sochi meeting that took place on August 5 between the Turkish and Russian presidents, the Turkish occupation's attacks increased along the border line between Rojava and Bakur (Northern Kurdistan).

Yesterday, Monday, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries bombed several populated villages in the cities and districts of north and east Syria from Shahba Canton to Qamishlo Canton in Jazeera region, resulting in material damage and the injury of a citizen from the village of Tal Zewan of Qamishlo city.

International silence deepens the Syrian crisis further

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in Jazira region, Talaat Younes, drew attention to the continuous brutal attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria, saying: "North and east Syria are subjected to brutal attacks by the Turkish occupation state on an ongoing basis, in a continuation of the genocidal policies against our people and attempts thwarting the democratic project in the region."

Noting that "the Turkish occupation continues its attacks and targeting of citizens and service institutions in NE Syria, in addition to committing massacres against the people in order to strike security and stability in the region and occupy the Syrian geography in an effort to revive the Ottoman Empire."

Talaat Younes noted the international silence about the crimes and attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the people of north and east Syria, and stated: "Children are subjected to massacres as a result of the daily bombing of our neighborhoods and regions, amid global silence, especially by the guarantor powers in the region (Russia and America)."

Younes explained that the pace of Turkish threats and attacks on NE Syria, from Shahba to Derek, increased after the Tehran summit and the Sochi meeting that was held between the Turkish and Russian presidents, violating all international and humanitarian values and principles. .

He added: "It is clear from that there are internal agreements between these countries to strike the security and stability of the region for their personal interests."

Meetings to give legitimacy to the Turkish massacres

Younes stated that "at a time when the attention of the Syrian people is directed to the international forces to resolve the Syrian crisis and end the occupation on Syrian territory, their meetings turn into meetings to deepen their crisis and give legitimacy to the massacres committed against our people, and conclude agreements to divide Syrian territories."

He explained that the meetings of Astana, Tehran and Sochi did not take any steps to solve the Syrian crisis, but rather turned into meetings to deepen it, occupy its geography, stressing that the Syrian people suffer on a daily basis as a result of these agreements.

Our response will be by resistance

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in Jazira region, Talaat Younes, called on the people of NE Syria to stand against these attacks and agreements and to continue resistance against genocidal attempts, saying: "We will resist until the end, and our people's response to these attacks will be with steadfastness and resistance ".
