YPG commemorated martyr Baran Serhat

The General Command of the People's Protection Units(YPG), commemorated Marxist Leninist Communist Party (MLKP) representative for Rojava, Bayram Namaz (Baran Serhat), who was martyred as a result of the explosion of a bomb that was placed in his car on Hasakah- Serê Kaniyê road on March 23.

The General Command of the People's Protection Units issued a statement in which it commemorated Marxist Leninist Communist Party (MLKP) representative for Rojava, Bayram Namaz (Baran Serhat), the leadership promised through the statement to follow his footsteps.

The text of the statement:

" Baran Serhat martyred on the 23rd of this March, by an explosive device targeted his vehicle by the mercenaries of the Turkish state."

Martyr Baran played an important role in the revolution of the people in Rojava. He was one of the leaders of the revolutionary movement in Bakur Kurdistan and the Marxist Communist Party. He was also stationed on the front lines against the attacks of the Turkish occupation for many years.

Targeting of the martyr Baran is the targeting of the unified revolutionary movement in Bakur Kurdistan - Turkey, so we say that these practices will not reach their goal, and we pledge to follow the footsteps of Baran.
