Zarif in Moscow to discuss current fateful files

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Muhammad Javad Zarif, and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov are discussing today in Moscow the situation in the region, especially the Syrian file.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Moscow on Tuesday morning, to hold bilateral consultations on regional and international situations.

According to Iranian media, Zarif is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to discuss the main issues, including the situation in the Karabakh region, the nuclear agreement and the settlement of the conflict in Syria and Afghanistan, the situation in the Gulf region and other issues.

The Russian Foreign Ministry had said that the Russian-Iranian talks would discuss current fateful issues.

The Iranian Foreign Minister is on a tour of several countries, including Russia, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey.
