Several areas of the Quneitra countryside witnessed military movements by Israeli forces today, accompanied by field measures and restrictions on civilian movement.

In detail, Israeli forces placed warning signs along roads in the villages of al-Hamidiyah, Rasm al-Shouli, Rasm al-Rawadi and Western Samdaniyah, warning that no more than three vehicles may travel together along roads bearing these signs. They threatened to respond to any violation of these instructions.

In a relevant context, an Israeli patrol advanced into the village of Taranja in northern Quneitra countryside, where it searched a commercial shop before withdrawing from the area.

Israeli forces also set up a military checkpoint this morning on the Ain al-Bayda–Jabata al-Khashab road, stopping a number of passers-by and subjecting them to searches.

These movements come amid continued Israeli incursions and military measures in various parts of the Quneitra countryside.
