Israeli shelling targets southern Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that Israeli forces shelled agricultural land with artillery rounds near the village of Eastern Samdaniya in the Quneitra countryside.

The SOHR said the targeted areas are used by local residents for agricultural work and as a source of livelihood.

Separately, the SOHR recorded 110 Israeli attacks on Syrian territory since the beginning of 2026, including six airstrikes and 104 ground attacks.

It noted that the attacks resulted in damage to or the destruction of around 13 targets, including remnants of weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, facilities and vehicles.
