The weather today, Friday, is expected to be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with scattered rain showers remaining possible across several parts of the country. The showers may be heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, particularly in coastal and northern areas and the Jazira region, according to forecasts by the National Center for Meteorology, affiliated with the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management.

Temperatures are expected to drop in the eastern regions and the Jazira region, falling to around 1–3 degrees Celsius below seasonal averages across the country.

On Saturday night, conditions are expected to become generally cool and relatively cold in mountainous areas. Humidity levels will rise, with fog likely to form in the central and northern regions, Qalamoun, and the Damascus Ghouta. The fog may be dense at times during the night and early morning hours.

Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly in the eastern regions and the Jazira region, and southwesterly in the remaining regions. They will be moderate, with active gusts occasionally exceeding 40 km/h, causing localized dust in eastern and southern areas and the Badia desert region.
