Dozens of displaced residents of Serê Kaniyê staged a protest on Sunday at Washokani Camp in Hasakah, demanding that their return to their homes be expedited amid deteriorating living conditions, particularly following the suspension of aid from humanitarian organizations.

The protesters voiced their demands amid a shortage of essential services and worsening living difficulties faced by displaced people, as well as reports of thefts inside the camp. These conditions have further compounded their suffering and prompted them to call for an end to their displacement and a return to their homes as soon as possible.
