Text of agreement between SDF, Syrian Transitional Govt 

The SDF Media Center issued a statement disclosing the text of the agreement reached between the SDF and the Syrian Transitional Government.

The statement read:

“An agreement has been reached to cease fire between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces under a comprehensive agreement, with an understanding on a gradual process to integrate military and administrative forces between the two sides.

The agreement includes the withdrawal of military forces from contact lines, the entry of Internal Security Forces affiliated with the Ministry of Interior into the centers of the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli, and the start of the process of integrating security forces in the region. It also provides for the formation of a military division comprising three brigades from the Syrian Democratic Forces, in addition to the formation of a Kobani brigade within a division affiliated with Aleppo Governorate.

The agreement further includes the integration of Autonomous Administration institutions into Syrian state institutions, with the remaining of civilian employees their positions. It also stipulates the settlement of the civil and educational rights of the Kurdish people and guarantees the return of displaced persons to their areas.

The agreement aims to unify Syrian territory and achieve full integration in the region by enhancing cooperation among the concerned parties and unifying efforts to rebuild the country.”
