YPJ reveals latest developments about integration process 

The General Command of the Women's Protection Units issued a statement on Tuesday, YPJ issued a statement through its official website, informing the people of the region and the public about the latest developments and the new phase related to the discussions about integration of the units.

The statement explained that discussions and assessments are ongoing regarding the integration process, within the framework of efforts to achieve stability and build a secure future in the region.

The General Command affirmed that the Women’s Protection Units play an independent and special position in this process, stressing that they are not merely a passing military force, but rather represent a symbol of women’s will and their historical struggle against terrorism and the protection of human values.

The units added in their statement that extensive discussions are currently taking place regarding the details of participation and the role of the units in the new structure, with an absolute focus on protecting women’s identity, experiences, and gains achieved over years of struggle.
